IT'S A GIRL!!!
Finally after 15 years of being HORSELESS, I have another equine in my life.
I decided a very long time ago when I got another horse, it was
going to be a Morgan, and it was going to know a lot of things, and it was probably going to be expensive.
Well, I got my Morgan, she doesn't
know ANYTHING yet, and she was NOT expensive!! I must thank Cindy Clark of
Wild Goose Morgans, Sasakwa, OK for the extraordinary, unbelievable,
and very generous deal she made with me to get my girl!!
Introducing:
WGM DIXIE'S RAMBLIN' ROSE
December 9, 2007
This is "Cricket" - she was born March 24, 2006. Her sire is the very pretty palomino R-Two Little Zipper, and her dam is the big and beautiful
Samacs Dixie Rhapsody. ->PEDIGREE HERE<-
Cricket is a red chestnut, with not a speck of white on her except for her right hind fetlock. I never thought I could
train a horse, but I am giving it a try. She is halter broke, and she leads,
picks up her feet, and trailers, so we are starting
from these points.

I think she likes me!
I have started a journal for her training: CRICKET'S JOURNEY I will update
here with her training, her progress, and my mistakes! (I'm sure I'll make some!) I will put pictures of her here on this page, and also there
will be a few on the journal page.
Pretty
head!
She definitely is RED!!
 Not the most
flattering of pictures, but proof she is still a baby. By the looks of her
lower lip, I would say she has a drawl! HAH!Nothing
is safe from a Morgan horse's curiosity. This poor dog got the once over,
three times before he could get away! She never tasted him, just sniffs
and nudges. He looks thrilled, doesn't he?!
OK, I'm not real sure this will work, but I think if you click this link VIDEO
you will get a dialog box to open/save a video file. It's in Windows Media Player format. It's her trotting and galloping and stickin
her tail up like an Arabian on the day I met her, December 9, 2007.

I think she
likes Dave, too.
Cricket really likes Anna. The feeling is mutual!!

Newest picture, taken August 24, 2008. She is almost 2 1/2 now, and she's looking like a Morgan!
She is almost 14.1 and about 750 lbs.
